TAKALPA was founded on February 22, 1992. From its foundation the company has consolidated its operation based upon the wide knowledge of alpaca wool.
With a mission to support local development and growth , Lanas Sudamérica has been working for more than 25 years hand in hand with the local communities to improve production conditions and thus ensure the quality of alpaca wool.
Throughout its history, this company holds a valuable heritage from grandfather to father and from father to son: the extensive knowledge of how to best produce alpaca fiber. It is through this inheritance that the company has succeeded to place itself in the industry as a recognized and reliable partner both at local and international levels.
